To enhance and promote the professional growth and competence of chamber of commerce executives

Chairman

Tom Pierson, ACE, Tacoma-Pierce County WA Chamber of Commerce

• Deliver content via new and multiple channels including expanding the association’s video library and expanding utilization of social media

Chair-Elect

Steve Van Dorn, Santa Clara CA Chamber of Commerce & CVB

• Coordinate efforts to help chambers better understand trends & prepare for the future including understanding generations and partnering with ACCE on business models study
• Chair the Nominating Committee for association directors & officers
• Coordinate goal setting session in October in Sacramento to outline the association program priorities
• Serve as liaison to Steering Committee for Academy program held in August in Sacramento

Vice Chair

Nancy Lindholm, ACE, Oxnard CA Chamber of Commerce

•  Chair the Program Committee for the February 2014 annual conference at the LAX Marriott

Deanna Palm, ACE, Greater Hillsboro Area OR Chamber of Commerce

• Develop a plan to provide assistance to new chamber CEOs

Pam Ridler, CCE, Castle Rock CO Chamber of Commerce

• Provide tools for chambers to play a leading role in economic development in their communities including our third ED Essentials program in August in Sacramento & possibly offering an Economic Development Institute

Vice Chair

Mike Varney, Tucson Metro AZ Chamber of Commerce

• Offer staff specific training program for membership & marketing professionals

• Develop comprehensive marketing tools to help chambers communicate value

Immediate Past Chair

Ken Moore, CCE, Edmond Area OK Chamber of Commerce

• Coordinate the Executive Leaders Roundtable in Tacoma in May featuring “Ctrl-Alt-Delete: Rebooting Your Chamber” program by Holly Duckworth

• Assist with content selection for the association’s fall webinar series and consider expanding webinars to other times throughout the year
