To enhance and promote the professional growth and competence of chamber of commerce executives


Steve Van Dorn, IOM, Santa Clara (CA) Chamber of Commerce & CVB
    •  Lead the outreach efforts to the members of the new Emerging Leaders Advisory Council for insight regarding industry trends and association programs.


Chair-Elect – Mike Varney, Tucson Metro (AZ) Chamber 

    •  Coordinate the selection of topics and presenters for the association’s 2014 webinar program
    •  Chair the Nominating Committee for association directors & officers
    •  Coordinate goal setting session in October in Santa Clara to outline the association’s program priorities for 2015
    •  Serve as the Executive Committee liaison to Steering Committee for Academy, which will be held in August in Sacramento

Nancy Lindholm, ACE, Oxnard (CA) Chamber of Commerce

    •  Chair the association’s “Chambers of the Future” task force
    •  Coordinate the Executive Leaders Roundtable in Denver on May 15

B Gorman, ACE, Lake Tahoe South Shore (CA) Chamber of Commerce

    •  Provide tools for chambers to play a leading role in economic development in their communities including our third ED Essentials program in August in Sacramento

    •  Chair the Program Committee for the February 2015 annual conference at the Disneyland Hotel in Anaheim.

Todd Sanders, Greater Phoenix (AZ) Chamber of Commerce

    •  Develop content and coordinate a Political Action Boot Camp to be held in Phoenix on April 11.

Tom Pierson, ACE, Tacoma-Pierce County (WA) Chamber of Commerce

    •  Investigate the possibilities (with input from ACCE and the US Chamber) of developing a rating system for all chambers of commerce.
