The Executive of the Year Award recognizes a
chamber CEO for outstanding performance over the
last year. Candidates are judged in five areas of expertise including
finance, communications, legislative action, and
membership services performed by the chamber.
Kelly Hall, President of the Longview TX
Partnership
County is the recipient
of the 2009 W.A.C.E.
“Executive of the Year” Award.
Kelly has been in Chamber work for 10 years, and
has quickly become an innovator in the chamber
industry.
She has numerous accomplishments including
developing and launching a chamber branded
non-subscriber occupational health plan for
chambers in the state of Texas. This program
just won the award as the most outstanding
chamber program in Texas. She also negotiated
two community development block grants totaling
over $70,000 for facade grants to help develop
the city's downtown central business district.
In addition, Kelly renegotiated a CVB contract
with the City of Longview increasing it to just
over 55% which provided more funds for their
marketing efforts.
Her community involvement is vast. She currently
serves on the Longview Museum of Fine Arts, the
Junior Achievement Executive Committee, Zonta
and the Habitat for Humanity Women's Building
Committee.
