W.A.C.E. Presents: Chamber AI Mastery Program

Building AI fluency, systems, and practical capability
Picture
Elevate your chamber with AI skills! The Chamber AI Mastery Program combines strategic leadership training with hands-on skill development to help your entire organization harness the power of artificial intelligence.

Over three 90 minute sessions, chamber leaders will develop frameworks for sustainable AI adoption while staff members build practical skills that save 5-10 hours weekly. From setting organizational strategy to optimizing daily workflows, this program provides everything your chamber needs to thrive in an AI-powered future. Bring your laptop, curiosity and questions. No prior AI experience required.

The Chamber AI Mastery Program is a comprehensive training series designed to help chamber professionals build practical AI skills and develop organizational AI strategies. Whether you're a chamber leader setting strategic direction or a team member executing daily tasks, this program provides the tools, frameworks, and hands-on experience you need to position your chamber for the future.

Program Structure

The program features two parallel tracks running simultaneously:
Picture
Do-ers Track
Three 90-minute sessions for chamber staff and practitioners focused on hands-on AI tool mastery, productivity workflows, and immediate application.
Picture
Leaders Lab Track
Three 90-minute sessions for executive directors, board members, and senior leadership focused on organizational strategy, governance, and change management.

Not Sure Which Session Is Right For You?

Choose Leaders Lab if you:
  • Set organizational direction and strategy
  • Need to build buy-in and governance systems
  • Want to understand how to lead AI adoption (not do the work yourself)
  • Are responsible for culture change and capability building
Choose Do-ers Track if you:
  • Want to learn practical AI tool skills
  • Do the day-to-day work in marketing, communications, or membership
  • Need to know how to write better prompts and build AI helpers
  • Want tool training, not strategy sessions
Not sure? You can take both tracks! Many chambers send executives to Leaders Lab and staff to Hands-On Track, they complement each other perfectly.

Program Details

Time Commitment:
  • 3 sessions × 90 minutes = 4.5 hours of core instruction
Learning Format:
  • Monthly sessions (April, May, June)
  • Cohort of 20-30 chamber leaders
  • Mix of instruction, discussion, and hands-on workbook time
Why This Isn't Just Another AI Training:
This isn't about learning ChatGPT. This is about building the organizational systems, governance, and culture that make AI adoption successful and sustainable.
You'll work on YOUR organization throughout all three sessions, leaving with frameworks you can implement immediately, not theoretical concepts you'll never use.

Do-ers Track (3 Sessions)

What This Track Is:
  • Practical, hands-on AI skills you can use tomorrow
  • Learning to think WITH AI, not just use it
  • Building helpers that understand YOUR work
What This Track Is NOT:
  • A ChatGPT tutorial (or Claude, or Copilot...)
  • Advanced technical training
  • Learning every feature of every platform

Session Details

Session 1: AI Foundations - How to Think WITH AI
The mental model shift: It's not Google, it's a thinking partner

What You'll Learn:
  • What AI actually IS (and why it matters for how you use it)
  • Why "just Google it" thinking breaks AI
  • The 4 types of AI work: Research, Writing, Analysis, Creation
  • Foundation models: the concept, not the brand names
  • Basic prompting: clarity over cleverness

Hands-On Practice (40 min):
  • The Email Test: Everyone tries using AI to draft the same chamber email
  • See how different approaches get different results
  • Learn what makes a prompt actually work
  • Common mistakes and how to fi x them in real-time

Your Daily AI Toolkit:
  • Identify your 3 most common tasks
  • Build simple prompts for each one
  • Practice until it feels natural

Platform Setup (Quick):
  • Optimize whichever tool you're using (ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, Gemini)
  • 5 minutes per platform - just the essentials
  • Focus: Make it work for YOU

You'll Leave With:
  • Mental model shift: You now understand HOW AI thinks
  • 5-10 starter prompts for YOUR specific role
  • Your primary AI tool set up and ready
  • Confidence to actually use this tomorrow
  • Platform comparison cheat sheet (when to use what TYPE of tool)

Perfect For: Any chamber professional who wants to start using AI but feels overwhelmed, OR has tried it but gotten mediocre results
Session 2: Context Engineering - The Secret Sauce
Why context matters 100x more than prompt tricks

What You'll Learn:
The #1 reason AI gives generic, useless responses (and how to fi x it)
What "context" actually means in AI
File organization that makes AI 10x more useful
Why naming conventions matter now
Building context documents that work
The power of "memory" in AI

The Big Idea:
AI can be incredibly smart or incredibly stupid - the difference is CONTEXT. This session teaches you how to give AI the context it needs to actually understand your chamber, your members, your voice.

Hands-On Practice (45 min):
Part 1: Context Documents (20 min)
  • Create a "Chamber Context" document together
  • Build a "My Role" context document
  • See the before/after difference in AI responses
Part 2: File Organization (15 min)
  • Clean up your most chaotic folder
  • Apply naming conventions that AI can understand
  • Use connectors/fi le uploads effectively
Part 3: Test It (10 min)
  • Same prompt, different context = dramatically different results
  • Real chamber scenarios: membership emails, event descriptions, advocacy messages

You'll Leave With:
  • Context document for your chamber (ready to use)
  • Context document for your specific role
  • File organization system that works with AI
  • Understanding of why your previous AI attempts felt "off"
  • Ability to get consistently better results

The Reality Check: This is the session that separates people who "tried AI once" from people who use it every single day. Context is everything.
Session 3: Build Your AI Helper
Create a specialized assistant that knows YOUR work

What You'll Build:
A custom AI assistant (using Projects/Notebooks/Gems/Agents - same concept, different names) that:
  • Understands your chamber's voice and brand
  • Knows your members and priorities
  • Can handle your most common tasks
  • Saves you hours every week

What You'll Learn:
  • Specialized helpers vs. general chat: when to use what
  • Bringing together: context + prompts + knowledge
  • Building for reuse (do the work once, use it forever)
  • On-brand voice and tone
  • Making it better over time

Hands-On Practice (50 min):
Build Together (30 min): Using everything from Sessions 1 & 2:
  1. Choose your first helper (membership, events, or communications)
  2. Add your context documents
  3. Build core prompts for your common tasks
  4. Set voice/tone guidelines
  5. Test with real chamber scenarios
Real Work Time (20 min):
  • Actually use your new helper for something you need to do this week
  • Get help from instructors as you work
  • Troubleshoot and refi ne together

You'll Leave With:
  • Working AI helper designed specifically for your role
  • Template to build additional helpers
  • Confidence to keep improving it
  • Real work completed during the session

The Goal: You walk out with something you'll actually use Monday morning, not a cool demo you'll forget about.

What Makes This Training Different?

Most AI training teaches tools. This teaches thinking.
Most AI training is platform-specific. This works with whatever you're using.
Most AI training uses generic examples. This is 100% chamber-focused.
Most AI training is one-and-done. This builds sustainable habits.

You're not learning to use ChatGPT. You're learning to think WITH AI - and that skill transfers to any platform, any update, any new tool that comes along.
