W.A.C.E. Board Adopts Strategic Plan

​​At the August 2024 Board Meeting, the Western Association of Chamber Executives (W.A.C.E.) enthusiastically approved a new Strategic Plan that promises a bright future for the Chamber of Commerce industry. This plan is the result of several months of work by the Board to affirm our purpose and vision, and to ensure the work the association engages in aligns with our mission and delivers value to our members.

Like your local strategic plan, W.A.C.E.’s model starts with defining our mission and vision.   Through this process, the Board reaffirmed W.A.C.E.’s vision to Inspire Excellence in Chambers of Commerce and our mission to Lead and Promote the Development of Chamber Professionals.

The multi-year plan, structured around four key imperatives: providing chambers with best practices, advancing the chamber leadership pipeline, fostering relationships, and innovating the W.A.C.E. business model, is a roadmap for our future. Through these imperatives, W.A.C.E. will empower Chamber professionals with high-quality education and resources, cultivate a diverse leadership pipeline, and strengthen connections within the industry. These efforts ensure that Chamber professionals are equipped to navigate and thrive in a rapidly changing environment.

With the new Strategic Plan, the power of connection takes center stage. As W.A.C.E. strengthens relationships within the Chamber of Commerce industry, your backyard gets really big.  This expansion means Chamber professionals have a vast network to tap into, fostering community and support that overcomes geographical boundaries. By building these connections, members can share insights, collaborate on innovative ideas, and feel a part of something larger than their organizations.
