W.A.C.E. Foundation Announces 2025 Academy Scholarship Recipients

The W.A.C.E. Educational Foundation announced the selection of 20 individuals as recipients of a $500 scholarship for the 2025 W.A.C.E. Academy. Those selected include:

• Justin Cook, Parker (CO) Chamber
• Cristina Cortes, Gilroy (CA) Chamber
• Michelle Crispin, Hermosa Beach (CA) Chamber
• Allie Daniel, Fruita (CO) Chamber
• Julia Dix, Tulare (CA) Chamber
• Katie Godfrey, Palisade (CO) Chamber
• Evan Gray, Palm Springs (CA) Chamber
• Alma Gutierrez, Vista (CA) Chamber
• Christoffer Jones, Murrieta/Wildomar (CA) Chamber
• Lynette Lanier, Temecula Valley (CA) Chamber
• Amanda Porteous, Healdsburg (CA) Chamber
• Nicole Rudy, Castle Rock (CO) Chamber
• Cheri Ryan, Summit (CO) Chamber
• Katie Schepker, Kittitas (WA) Chamber
• Anna Ullman, Tustin (CA) Chamber
• Ashley Wilson, Rancho Cordova (CA) Chamber

"The pool of applicants was impressive, including individuals who were new to W.A.C.E and those who were continuing their professional development journey with us," said Anne Glasscock, president of the W.A.C.E. Educational Foundation.  "We were thrilled to be able to support these individuals and look forward to following their careers and leadership in their local Chamber and in W.A.C.E. We're also grateful to everyone who took the time to complete an application and/or to support a nominee by providing an endorsement or other encouragement."

W.A.C.E. CEO Glenn Morris, said, "Our association is fortunate to have the support of the W.A.C.E. Educational Foundation. The funds they raise each year are returned directly to benefit local Chambers and their team members in the form of scholarships and conference sponsorship. Many organizations do not have this tool, so we're fortunate that previous W.A.C.E. leaders had the foresight to set up the Foundation and that so many volunteers have stepped up over the years to make sure it was funded."

The Foundation intends to offer another round of scholarships in support of the 2026 W.A.C.E. Annual Conference.  Foundation president Anne Glasscock said, "We encourage all local chambers to submit at least one application from their team!"
