W.A.C.E.’s journey as an independent association continues to progress. Following a successful year advancing the organization’s strategic plan, the organization looks forward to delivering even more value and service to our member chambers. “We are pleased to share that Nancy Lindholm has joined the W.A.C.E. management team,” shared President & CEO Glenn Morris. “Her experience both as a local Chamber CEO and as a leader within W.A.C.E. will be invaluable in expanding our services and improving our programming.” Nancy has been in the chamber industry for more than 20 years. She began her career as the President and CEO of the Oxnard Chamber of Commerce on February 1, 2004. She remained at the helm of the organization when it merged with the Camarillo Chamber in 2021 and became the West Ventura County Business Alliance.
As part of the Alliance’s succession plan, Nancy recently stepped down from the CEO position and took on the CFO role. She is currently working part-time and will be fully retired at the end of this year. Lindholm is a graduate of W.A.C.E. Academy and received the Accredited Chamber Executive (ACE) designation in February of 2010. She also attained the industry designation of IOM from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce's Institute for Organizational Management. Nancy served on the Board of W.A.C.E. for many years and was Chair of the Board in 2016-2017. Nancy’s role as Operations Coordinator will focus initially on the membership experience. She will be the primary point of contact for ensuring local Chambers who affiliate with W.A.C.E. are onboarded well, supported through annual retentions, and communicated with throughout the year. “I’m excited to have the opportunity to help Glenn and W.A.C.E. with operational support,” Nancy shared. “It’s great to give back to the organization that had such a profound impact on my chamber career.” “Nancy has been a trusted mentor, friend, and peer for many years,” said Glenn Morris. “Having someone like her as part of our team is more than we hoped for when the board approved adding a part-time support position.” Nancy can be reached at [email protected].
