Brad Hicks, CCE, IOM, The Chamber of Medford/Jackson County (OR)
 • Lead the effort to develop messaging and outreach strategy for a campaign to grow the association’s membership.


Todd Sanders, Greater Phoenix (AZ) Chamber

  • Chair the Nominating Committee for association directors & officers
  • Organize the goal setting session to be held in conjunction with October Board meeting to outline the association’s program priorities for 2019
  • Coordinate Business Retention & Expansion workshop to be held in Phoenix on October 12

Nathan Ahle, Fresno (CA) Chamber

  • Coordinate Political Boot Camp to be held on May 17 in Portland in conjunction with the association’s Board meeting.

Tallia Hart, ACE, San Francisco (CA) Chamber of Commerce

  • Coordinate the selection of topics and presenters for the association’s fall webinar series

Vice Chair

Jill Lagan, ACE, Boulder City (NV) Chamber of Commerce

  • Work with staff to coordinate & improve the Mentor Program for new chamber CEOs.

Chris Romer, Vail Valley (CO) Partnership

  • Chair the Program Committee for the February 2019 annual conference at the Disneyland Hotel

Immediate Past Chair

Pat Patrick, Lodi District (CA) Chamber

  • Coordinate next steps with BrandBirth to communicate key messages from the 2017 Chamber Brand Project & develop a new best practices kit for W.A.C.E. members.

Program & Services (unless otherwise indicated items below will be largely staff driven)

  • Expand content in the W.A.C.E. Video Library
  • Continue to improve the Resource Library in the “members only” section of the association’s website by reviewing, updating and expanding content
  • Look for opportunities to partner with state and regional associations including (but not limited to) volunteer leaders training
  • Monthly newsletters – Insider – electronic & print versions & ICYMI e-news 
  • Continue regular electronic polling of members on chamber issues and trends
  • Chamber Survey Central – conduct “3C” e-surveys for W.A.C.E. members of their chamber business members
  • Annual CEO salary & benefits survey
  • Annual salary & benefits survey for key staff positions
  • Annual membership retention survey
  • Extensive awards and recognition programs
  • Monthly “Career Opportunity Bulletin”
  • Assist chambers and executives with other programs & resources including executive search
